Myrtle Tree Ministries respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through our website, texts, and online giving, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We collect only what you choose to share with us and what we need to care for our church family. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. You can ask us to update or delete it at any time.
Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and anything you include in a message, prayer request, or sign-up.
Information collected automatically: basic visit data, such as pages viewed, approximate location (city or region), device type, and browser. This data helps us understand how the site is used. It does not tell us who you are.
We use your information to respond to you, pray for you, share church news and events you ask to hear about, coordinate volunteers and groups, send giving records, and improve this website. We do not use your information for advertising.
Prayer requests and care conversations are shared only with our pastors and the leaders who pray for and care for you. We do not post or share them publicly without your permission.
We share information only with the people at Myrtle Tree Ministries who need it to serve you, and with the services that help us run the church, such as our website host, our texting service, Zoom, and Cash App. We also share information if the law requires it or if someone's safety is at risk.
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send service reminders, event updates, group messages, and replies to your questions or prayer requests. How often you hear from us depends on your involvement. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never required to attend or take part in church life. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text consent with anyone for marketing.
Gifts made through Cash App are processed by Cash App. We do not see or store your full card or bank account numbers. We keep a record of your name and gift amounts so we can send giving statements. Cash App's own privacy policy covers the information you enter there.
Our website uses a small number of cookies to work properly and to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
Our livestreams, videos, online meetings, and maps come from Facebook, YouTube, Zoom, and Google Maps. When you use them, those companies may collect information under their own privacy policies.
This website is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We keep information only as long as we need it to serve you or as the law requires. Giving records are kept for tax purposes. When we no longer need information, we delete it.
We limit who can see your information and use trusted services to store it. No website or app is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information, such as card numbers, by email or text.
